Angelic Sigil Spell

Sigils are symbols created to focus and upon and be charged for a certain purpose. This sigil was created as a focus for communication with the angels. Around the outside in angelic script is a short prayer to the angels to open up the lines of communication and guide us. Then there are the names of some of the angels I have worked with. At the top is the name of archangel Michael, who is the commander of heaven. The symbol of life and magick, the ankh, sits between wings representing the angels as messengers of the Source.

To charge a sigil you print it and cut it out. Hold it in your hands and close your eyes. Ask the the angels to connect with you and help to raise your vibration to connect with them. Imagine that request as a ball of energy within your heart. Let it glow brightly as you focus on your request. After visualizing it becoming as bright as it can, imagine the ball moving from your heart, between your arms and down into your hands. Once there it flattens and merges into the sigil.

Now that the sigil is charged you can place it where its energy will flow best. Or you can burn it and let the energy move into the Universe.

Places to put the sigil:
-under the bed
-inside a stuffed animal
-Inside a pillow or sachet
-on your altar
-under your favorite angel statue

Mabon: Good Spirits Give Thanks

This is a small ritual to celebrate Mabon, the sabbat of thanksgiving and transition. Enjoy!

Supplies:

• 4 white candles 
• 1 glass bowl
• lighter
• bread, fruit, and other feast item
• glass of juice or water
• table and chairs

Preparations:
Place one candle in each direction. In the center set up a table with atleast two chairs, one for you and one empty. More chairs can be added if you like. Set the bowl out and put food into it. All kinds. Light your candles.

Face the east and east-candle. Close your eyes, say:

"To the East comes Raphael, angel of healing, and with him stand all the good spirits of healing."

Visual Raphael, the healing angel, surrounded by bright happy faces of many other good spirits. These are spirits of all kinds, animals, plants, and all help to heal. Conjure up all the happy memories you have had over the summer months. When you feel that joy open your eyes and turn to the south. Face the south, close your eyes, and say:

"To the South comes Michael, angel of protection, and with him stride all the good spirits of guardianship."

Visualize Michael in his gleaming armor and sword in hand. Beside him seems to stand a vast army of all types. From grand predator animals to faery. Think over those times where you may have needed the protection or channeled that protective energy in the past summer months. When you have conjured up that feeling, open your eyes. Face the west, close your eyes, and say:

"To the West comes Gabriel, angel of guidance, and with him walk all the good spirits of counsel."

Visualize Gabriel with his cool colored robes, scroll in hand. He walks beside men, women, and spirits of intellect and guidance. These are the spirits of sound decision and understanding. Remember the times that you may have needed the guidance or have been the guide of another person in your life. When you have this memory in your mind, open your eyes. Face the north, close your eyes, and say:

"To the North comes Ariel, angel of nature, with her rest all the good spirits of nature."

Visualize Ariel, angel of nature, surrounded by the great forests. Around her are animals, faery, and good spirits connected to the Earth. The walk a path of balance with nature. Draw to mind the moments over the past summer where you have been struck by the peace and beauty of nature. Whether it was staring at a beach or spotting an elusive animal for the first time. Take a minute to relive that awe. When it had sunk into your heart, open your eyes. Turn to the center and approach your table. Pull out both chair. Stand before your table and raise your cup, as if making a toast. As you relive each happy moment, let the positive energy fill you up. Say:

"I give thanks to the influence of the angels and all goodly spirits. I share my bounty with those that have aided in its harvesting. Blessed be!"

Sit down at your table and partake of the food. Leave some for the spirit. When you are ready to finish up. Extinguish each candle, saying at each one:

"Go if you must, stay if you will. Blessed be."

Gabriel Moon-Wishing Spell

Supplies:

-bowl of water

-three silver coins

Purpose:

Creating a clear line of communication between the Universe and yourself

Place the bowl of water on the windowsill or table where the moonlight can shine on it. On a full moon, take three silver coins and hold them in your hand. Close your eyes and take a deep breath. Visualize archangel Gabriel before you. He seems to glow in the moonlight. Visualize him lifting his hands toward the full moon as it's light brightens, revealing all of the hidden spaces in the night. Hold your coin and seem them being chargd by the moon's light. When they are charged open your eyes. Say,

"The full moon rises in the dark of night,

Blessings are made through this prayer

Gabriel the angel my path does light,

Now I walk without fear."

Drop one coin into bowl.

"The first is for clarity in my future dreams,

Guiding me to insights I could not before see."

Drop next coin into water.

"The second is for truth which I will speak,

And truth that I always will seek."

Drop third coin into water.

"The third is for guidance that I can learn,

From the angels messages I do yearn."

Take a deep breath and see Gabriel in your mind. Relax and say,

"Thanks to the moon's blessing shine,

Thanks be to the angels in this time. 

Blessed be!"

Let the coins soak until dawn. Take them out of the water and keep them on your person to attract the energy called for in the spell.

Angel of Divine Messages 

One of the most well known angels, its not hard to conjure the image of Gabriel. Usually with a golden horn in tow. The image can be a bit intimidating and so can his messages. But Gabriel isn't all business all the time. Though it can seem like it, if you have an honest heart and are really honest with yourself he tends not to be so frightful. 'Try your hardest' is his motto and as long as you hold to it there is more than enough reassurance under his big fluffy wings.

  As a herald of divine messages, Gabriel is associated with prayer, communication, careers, and more. He is a guide to help people find their true calling and go for it. If you are looking for your purpose or your vocational, ask Gabriel for help. Like a GPS, Gabriel knows where you are at all times and knows where you are going. Just ask for the inspiration and he will point the way. 

You Know You're..

So the meet and greet with local pagans went great. My husband was able to relax and trust. me. Had a great time and did some networking.

Today I performed the Lesser Banishing Ritual of the Pentagram. For those that don't know, its a very simple but powerful ritual to clear away negativity from yourself and your home. One part asks you to invoke the archangels Raphael, Michael, Gabriel, and Ariel. Their presence can really be felt. After I was done and felt the negativity slip away, I went into meditation to encounter some new angels.
though a bit unfocused, mostly from being abuzz with ritual energy, I was able to meet with an entire group of angels I had been studying. Assiel, Muriel, Haziel, Sariel, and Anael were all there. It was quite pleasant. I was surprised though when Gabriel showed up. Gabriel's energy is very reminiscent of my mother's energy which can be very driven and analytical. I was nervous. But he hugged me tight and told me to stop being so hard on myself. I push my expectations hard when trying to find a job and do my best. Though I haven't been able to get a job, it has badly wounded my confidence and my opinion of myself. Well you know you're too hard on yourself when the angel of hard work says you are. Gabriel went on to say, "All you can do is do the best you can. And you have. Don't be so hard on yourself."
I have to say, I almost cried. I could feel that acknowledgement that I wasn't failing or giving up sink into my bones. It was just what I needed. All the angels around me smiled and agreed before I returned to my physical body. Even as I sit here writing I feel the cooling effect Gabriel's words have on my spirit.
