Winter is a wonderful reminder to turn inward. It is a time of reflection and focus on oneself. This winter i will be focusing on healing myself and the healing arts. So far I have moved through my first 4 chakras from root to heart. These next three will be brought up in december. With my angels, guides, and totems at my side I know it will happen with my best interests at heart.
I hope everyone has the opportunity to work on something over this winter so that when spring comes they will be able to start anew.

Remember to not get too stuffed and sick. Being sick on your holidays are unpleasant.
And don't forget to give a little love to your angels for their tender care. If you have some extra mashed potatoes or a slice of pie, set it aside for them. I'm sure they'd appreciate it!

Angel of Death and Transition
Not a very pretty topic to discuss. Yet, it doesn't need to be scary. The idea of mortality can be intimidating, even terrifying. This is why one of the most gentle and loving angels is set to the task of bringing us out of life. Azrael, the angel of death, is the most cherished friend any of us could ask for. He comes to us during times of change and uncertainty, not only when our time in this world is over. Azrael has seen the best and worst of people yet can still show us his bittersweet, sad smile when we look up into his face. Truly a friend to any who would seek out this angel's guidance.
Azrael's energy is subtle and expansive. Very much like the air we breath, he can step up beside us within the span of a heart beat. Like a shadow, he is there at every turn and footstep yet only when we are ready will he come to us. There is no fear with this angel, only a comfort that we can't fully understand until we feel it.

Long Time Friend
A few days ago I was lying in bed, ready to sleep. In the middle of my half-awake mind I felt something very familiar. I woke up my intuition and 'saw' the familiar spirit. It appeared as an androgynous fairy princess type all decked out in silver and blue with long white hair. I let my mind try to wander in my memories where I might have met this spirit before. I then felt a memory pulled out from my childhood. It was a quiet, lonely time and I saw this spirit beside my child-self as she lay in bed daydreaming as she tried to sleep. The spirit watched over her. In my mind i saw the face of the spirit and the same look. Gentle, loving, and bittersweet that I had felt a hundred times before. I recognized the spirit as an angel who has been reappearing in my life these past couple of years. I think a bio is in order.
